decouple or perish

This is only my opinion. No historical fact to support it.

In Australia we had similar slogans in the past and the proved right..

Populate or Perish...

Mine or Perish...

and I think its time to add a new one:

Decouple or Perish!

It is high time the Australian government decoupled our economy from the USA. We have very little in common with Wall Street, yet we let Wall Street govern our market. That, IMHO is wrong. It is time we stand on our own feet.
