I did a bit of reconnaisance last year in the hope of finding a better place than australia

i travelled to Peru, Bolivia, mexico, cuba, south india and sri lanka

of these I think sri lanka was probably the best

cuba was quite nice but the food is terrible and they don't have hardly any surf

sri lanka had cheap accomodation, surf (at different seasons) and probably the best food

on my next trip I hope check out central americia, brazil, spain, parts of africa and maybe turkey

anybody have any ideas on whether there are any places worth living in that lot.

have lived overseas for many years and am beginning to think Oz is probably the best place actually.
