Damo - when the deal was made with Pensador, it was obviously a very real deal.

I don't think MS purposely set out to deceive - and in fact if you look at the achievements of adding value to CVI with regular buying up of Fortitude, we've advanced a long way, even though holders right now don't accept that.

Seems they want to do a blood letting and just run away.
For me, concentrating on the copper is hte prize anyway.

He hasn't had any other 'flopped deals' yet - they are just not materialised deals still in the pipeline - like onshore Kwanza.
So - the Pensador deal is the only 'flopped deal' - and it's one I had to be persuaded to like in the firtst place, even though I preferred copper all the time.

Now we have other entities like Hardt who are coming in, and likely to ultimately replace Pensador.
I'd rather have European money backing deals than American money.

It's a strange time, and if Smyth isn't happy with the direction he's been forced to take, I can see him stepping down and leaving Egan to run Cityview, as he has the minerals experience.

I'm interested - and see that once a new lot of investors realise the value in the copper in the ground, we'll see a bright and shiny new register with focussed holders.

Remember the feeling when we were increasing our stake in Fortitude regularly?
It'll come back once the focus is clear.

I'm bashing my head up a brick wall at the moment.
Tim and Shadders and a few otehrs can see the good value come out of todays ann.
It's like a fresh broom going through...

I have said recently I was reserving judgment waiting for updates.
I needed to see some truth, clarity and direction - and I believe we have seen just that today.

More to come he says on refinery project (I'd like to see that go ahead - Angola needs it, and it keeps our ties with Falcon intact)

Onshore oil isn't gone either - we still have liaisons with Falcon and others -

Achievable goals have just been set - and damo, I believe your options have a chance of making a good recovery (along with mine!) but you, and all holders are able to press the sell button if you fancy the casino!!

No one is forcing anyones arm into holding. Please remember that and dyor.

(Damo -You know I've been looking closely at Fortitude as CVI's future... still looking! Will talk to you on that later.)
