I always wanted to own Westpac shares but until this week thought there were faster moving share plays to be had. By chance I managed to buy a few just after market open yesterday at $18.74. Not often I get to buy a bluechip at such a low price.Might try to hold this for a while. I owe Westpac (or more correctly Rams) close to $1m in residential and investment loans anyway. Might as well have some equity in the company.
