Yes you're right, it is for those periods - and that was my point, but in hindsight I didn't explain it that well in the original post. If a Director were to start selling (after buying/holding for 18 months), I'd think he had given up on the stock, and would now want to liquidate and maybe buy something else on the cheap. But but instead he's decided to resume buying, and add to his existing position.
