Great management know that their people are important. To lay off staff will be very bad for business once it recovers. Take a bit of pain at the top, shield the ones at the bottom for a while. The staff and the wider team will appreciate this by putting in 2x more effort when the recovery comes.

one of the many reasons why i like webjet is the management team. If i dont trust the management i dont invest.
