Rubbish. Commodity booms last for decades. The shortest ever was 15 years. The last one in the 70's occured due to 3% of the worlds population industrialising and urbanising (Japan, Tiawan & S. Korea) and lasted 17-18 years I believe.
Now 33% of the worlds population is urbanising and industrialising. (China, India and a fair portion of SE Asia). Do the math.
