When I bought in yesterday for my wife I did so on the basis of the AFR article, that AMC is in a defensive industry with predictable earnings, and that the SP had had a significant fall. I wasn’t aware of the “shorting” story and the allegations made by the US company. What are others opinions as to the veracity of their allegations, given that as soon as they made the allegations, and the stock fell In Response, that it became a self fulfilling prophesy ?
What are others opinions on the outcome of this short ? Bit of a worry that Directors have so few AMC in their holdings.........
