My wife also works in the medical field and told me the other night in discussion about this Covid-19 topic, a Chinese Doctor she works with claims this whole problem originated because Chinese scientists have been injecting experimental drugs into animals, then instead of destroying them after they were finished they were sold off to markets for human consumption - animal to man !! thus this is a man made problem we have created. The Chinese Government tried keeping it under wraps but failed, 60 minutes ran a story on Covid-19 last Sunday night including the market sales and never mentioned this in fear of its ramifications, now it's become a global pandemic with economic ramifications.
