    If people like a company, the prospect of a rights issue will often make the SP go up. A rights issue is usually pitched as a good deal for existing holders, so people like to get on board for when it is announced.

    No, I think CVI's SP is low because the future is not clear and many dreams have been shattered. Some wait and see. Others sell.
