You are correct. But note that other clients portfolios have equally dropped to varying degrees, so its all relative.
But what it means is that you only have one course of action to recover your funds, and that is to litigate. If you are not with one of the litigation groups, get cracking. I understand IMF is still accepting new clients, but the window may close soon, so do not wait too long. Charlie Gallow in their Perth office is the man to talk to. Note I am an IMF client.
