They haven't tested enough of people. South Korea has tested over 250,000 people. USA has tested only 20,000 to 30,000 people.
As USA tests more upwards of 1 million people then we can see a truer picture of the case fatality rate of Covid-19. Italy death rates are highly skewed towards their very high +65 years old population. Italy health system isn't the greatest in the world either from what I have heard and they are dishing out the wrong treatments.
This morning I heard that the Italian medicals are using vast amounts of paracetamol to reduce covid-19 patients fever and that is actually what is killing a large number of the critical covid-19 patients. In basic terms - the Italian medicals F*ed up big time. They need help from better medically experienced countries.
