Someone dumped Millions of shares into the closing auction which is suicide if you're net long. Leaving it to the closing auction is a deliberate attempt to dump the price. Since the GDXJ has fallen 50% in a month, I wonder if it's not an attempt to get the mining stocks to align with the ETF..
