Fingers, I suppose the short answer to that is, yes. They havn't announced that HIV is cured because it is not demonstrated yet. Phase three will have to be completed successfully with all end points achieved etc before they'd consider using the 'C' word. This of course won't stop news agencies using it earlier once they get wind of it, particularly when Biotron announce their Phase 3 partnership, take-over, or however they go about the next trials.

And of course, none of this will prevent small time retail investors using the C word either. I could go on here with a philosophical type discussion about a cure at this stage when it is not yet proven, but possible, or probable (or not at all). You know the type, "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"
