Looking Forward to a GREAT 2020, page-676

BOT had a little run up yesterday and has continued to bob around a bit today. Some interesting news has come out of Queensland Uni research centre - which BOT just happen to have a research partnership with and are doing research in cahoots with BOT.

Thinking back to the BOT's report:
"In October 2019, Botanix was awarded a new Innovation Connections Grant of A$50,000, from the FederalGovernment’s department of AusIndustry. The grant accelerates Botanix’s medicinal chemistry programtargeting the creation of new synthetic and patentable analogs of CBD and investigate the antimicrobialactivity of CBD. This program is being conducted in collaboration with The University of Queensland’sInstitute for Molecular Bioscience."

Then this is in the news today:

"A team of Australian researchers say they may have found a cure for the novel coronavirus and hope to have patients enrolled in a nationwide trial by the end of the month.The researchers from the University of Queensland had previously been testing two existing drugs in a lab setting and had been trying to get a clinical trial off the ground, setting a target of $750,000."

I wonder if they might have squirted some of BOT's products into the corona research just to see what would happen and went from there? Bit of a reach but QLD Uni seems to be leading the world for answers at this stage. I'm sure some patents would already be in place for any of BOTs microbial discoveries. Its probably not that far a reach to see BOT becoming involved in this somehow. That would be interesting for holders.
