I have no idea as to the possibilities of a higher offer coming but would like to think someone might make TLS earn it. In my opinion they are picking up KAZ very cheaply.
It would seem that TLS have had the upper hand in negotiations so far. The KAZ Board has capitulated by accepting TLS's low-ball offer. No doubt the KAZ Directors are more focussed on their exit strategy and the opportunity TLS has provided rather than the price received and therefore the interests of other shareholders in general.
A counter bid is the only hope for us small shareholders is to get a decent offer for our KAZ shares.
Phil, care to name the company mentioned?
