This was a classic case of short-selling. When you see the list of sellers lining up on the screen, only too willing to meet the bidder's offer you know it's on. The same phenomenon was was apparent with IBA when it was around 65 to 70 cents, which happened to be at at time when a certain hedge fund was an acknowledged big borrower of the stock. Short-selling is still allowed under certain conditions provided they disclose it. However if I want to find out about it how do I do it ? This information is kept from the common herd. We are just the bunnies in all this. The fodder. What would they do without us ?
