    Personally i agree with you.

    problem is, ususally before a collapse, there is a burst to the upside...

    Reduced interest rates and other schemes being introduced into the Aussie landscape at the mo are going to make more cash available for new investors in Real Estate.

    i see this as a driver upwards for house prices short term (a year or two I'm guessing),

    THEN the "collapse"

    I have heard our real estate market lags the US by two years...
    That suggests to me we still have a year to the upside...

    However... this is just conjecture and i truly know nothing...

    ;)
