Listed travel company Webjet is the first top-200 stock out of the gates with a rescue equity raising.
The company's shares went into a trading halt on Thursday morning ahead of the offer.Fund managers were awaiting details on Thursday morning.
I would much rather them go early than be one of the last ones to raise considering there is only a small amount of capital waiting to be deployed at the moment. It shows management are thinking longer term.
