Most people are not stupid enough to spend the money they need in the short term to eat on the stock market in such uncertain times.
Those that panic and sell in the short term are giving away a fortune to long term investors at these prices. Energy demand still going to go up based on fundamentals (highlighted below) and it is quite clear looking at supermarket shelves that the general population are not willing to give up on toilet paper and return to stone age hunter gathering just yet.
