Government now needs to spend like a farmer with his wool cheque. This is $600m shovel-ready economic activity in FNQ, plus interconnect $130m. $10m each from Qld and the feds is small change with tangible benefits compared to the tens or hundreds of billions about to be spent on corporate and household welfare.
