Here's my prediction, if anyone is interested. I think the virus pandemic will pass within 2-3months and the economy will have a technical recession in the 1st half of the year. This will be followed by a strong rebound led by significant hyperinflation which can then lead to other problems. The tech recession will sift out all businesses which don't have strong cashflow or good management to get them through. I personally think companies like qantas and myer will see this through as they have decent cash and excellent leadership. We may see many retailers go including David Jones as they started much later than Myer in the cost cutting.
