I have been considering what the Govt would do if WBC got in to trouble. It would save depositors and account holders and shaft the shareholders. But a first step could be to remit any fines as a prelude to helping the bank through the inevitable cycle of bad debts.
Who would have thought, $14. That was a tongue in cheek post originally.
