I have been wondering the same. Low $A should be beneficial in exports and in price competition against imports. I believe I read some where about hedging $us dollar supply contracts so maybe there is no benefit from low $A . What sp isn't going south in this market. the volumes have been pretty low as i 've been looking to buy at around 1.30 but volumes dismal so will quickly bounce on good market sentiment(some long way off in the future???)
