On this day, 18 years ago Havilah began trading on the ASX. The shares were issued at 20 cents and after all these years of promise our shares are trading at 6.8 cents.
Dr Giles was a director when the company was listed and he remains very much in control of the Company's activities as the two new directors have no mining or exploration experience.
Unfortunately for the small shareholders, the only place the party poppers will be going off tonight is at the Giles residence.
What have we got to look forward to over the next 18 years (or 18 months)? I think we will get a low ball takeover one of existing large shareholders. Or maybe a delisting!
