    the movement is mirroring ticker etf IHHY which l think is a very similar global product - so it's not an aberration specific only to this product... (in the back of my mind l can remember warnings that higher interest products are not as safe as you would imagine in a crash and should not be seen as "safe" my guess is that if we check some of the other similar products we will find the same story... l am thinking stable maybe except in a complete market meltdown then they are not? l am thinking the yield is deceptive and will be lowered? if the yield does stay the same l assume they will head north.

    I would welcome other opinions but to be honestly starting to think may as well convert to a pure bank share the loss is probably just the same... really don't know?

    (also interestingly l did once thought of bank hybrids as an option but they are falling as well. apparently they can be converted to shares at the banks option, which is something nab has started doing with its falling share price).

    looks like the only options for capital stable are floating rate notes, bonds and cash... everything is down MXT have joined the pack.

    capital stable except when the market crashes
