I layed off Trump the moment I thought he was taking the crisis seriously.
I am angered by the fact that his lies allowed infected individuals (including Peter Dutton) into Australia without proper screening by the Australian Government.
Regardless, Trump cannot be allowed to ignore all medical opinion . There are practical strategies which can be adopted to limit the impact and duration of the pandemic in developed countries but Trump doesn't want to know about them. As I understand it Trump seeks to undo the social distancing policy while agreeing that the medical profession would oppose this. Millions of deaths and an inevitable longer term shutdown would be the result.
