WPP needs to seriously look at why there are so many directors on the Board, for a business that has under-performed for so many years.
Being the largest in the space has not helped it achieve improvement in results!
Cost cutting must be a lot deeper in the current climate and the old paradigm of excessive spending in the advertising industry is ABSOLUTELY NOT SUSTAINABLE!
For a start, the Board should look at a sizable cut in Directors' fees NOW.
