Can I throw in one other "factor".
When considering whether a low is on the cards, the key is whether the market is making that probable.
If the market is trending upwards, then expecting a low around Oct 10 is nonsensical.
So I guess the point is, if the market is headed down into the usual misery season in the US, what dates do you watch?
