Fair point and that's another reason they should never have started legal action.
If they had a good relationship with the other JV parties they would be able to negotiate something to preserve the cash but clearly the relationship with WPL is likely toxic now.
There is still no reason why the directors can't take at least a 50% pay cut while they are working from home in their gardens.
I only have a small holding which I very recently bought so I am not really affected but many shareholders will be hurting so I think that's the least the directors could do right now.
If they can't negotiate some sort of care and maintenance program with the other JV parties and major contract holders they should quit and give someone else a chance to try.
