I have read it upside down, sideways and diagonally as well as right way up and I have decided that it deciphers like this - The deal is being negotiated for various reasons some of which might be price, timing or changes to some of the intricacies or it may even be cancelled but at the moment because there is no definitive indication of the status at all then it is inappropriate to say that it is in doubt. I suppose that is better than the growing feeling that it is completely underwater due to no contact at all. I guess KJ is saying as much as he is allowed to say - he would obviously not have complete freedom of speech on this.
