Well you are all correct up to a point. If you haven't sold then you have not lost money. The banks are surely responsible for this and now watch your savings if you have any cash lying around. I don't want to be smug and say that I predicted this but I am still holding BMN and SDL so have taken a hiding.
As I said watch your cash because there are no guarantees in place in Australia that you cash is safe. There are other banks around the world that have frozen accounts today and some that have taken customers savings.
