My point exactly, small cap companies in exploration/development stages generating no income or paying dividends or employing staff won't be that affected. Therefore CEO's have no reason to sacrifice their salary. Especially $300k/year which would do nothing to the bottom line.
If anything the board could maybe decide to be partially paid with shares rather than coin. That could work.
