Interesting - further to my post of 23 March we now have the actual results of the Van Eck rebalance; whilst there was a considerable sale from GDXJ on 23 March it would appear that it was offset to some extent by SLR getting into the Van Eck GDIG index (it's a European based resources index) and as such some of the SLR shares were swapped from GDXJ to GDIG (see note: shown as In-Kind transactions result from UCTGDIG receiving a basket of securities (including SILVER LAKE RESOURCES LTD) in exchange for securities in UCTGDIG). Since GDXJ is now not a substantial holder we will not be getting these announcements and will have to see the movements in the Van Eck disclosure until such time as GDXJ again becomes as substantial holder.
