GR,imo china and the US r looking well past corona,they understand the military advantage 6g provides..
As posted,tls ,japan and korea once led mobile technology connectivity and mobile app developments.
Then trujillo left and tls lost the plot.
Yes tls has developed 5g as much as amca allows.
But first 5g requires frequencies between 26ghz and approx 76/96 ghz what ever.
Australia, as posted has never mentioned spectrum auctions above 26ghz.The US has ie approx 45ghz.
So now tls can no longer b described as being a global leader in mobile technology because first tls hasn't commercial qty of 26ghz plus acma has never mentioned higher frequency auctions.
But it gets worse,korea and japan r now researching 6g,what is tls doing.?ie tls along with japan and korea led global mobile developments.
China and the US clearly understand the economic and military superiority 6g will provide,so along with korea and japan they will understand the niche areas where 6g is required to gain that economic and military superiority while tls advances to understanding how 5g can b used to power esports.
The pandemic will end and as tls has proven in the past that if u gain superiority in a mobile network it is hard for competition to catch up.
Once the US,china,japan and korea gain the understanding of 6g characteristics and competitive advantages and how to take advantage of 6g it will b very hard for other countries to catch up including australia ,whether for economic purposes or military purposes.
