@ strange: the irony is the L/NP coalition economic philosophy has 'creative destruction' as a core tenet. Coal power is more expensive than renewables, even If the pollution it creates is uncosted.
If the CV-19 shutdown reduces electricity demand, it will be coal that reduces output. Expect Liddell to close at anytime. It enjoys government support to stay open for 'system reliability'. Batteries could provide that service.

Ratch has signed a second PPA with Aldi for 19.4% of the 227Mw Collector WF output. The first was with IFN for 60% of Collector's output.
Which begs the question, why didn't IFN take all the available output? Perhaps the Aldi negotiation began earlier.
