I have posted several times on ASX general threads about how they should have banned short selling at this point in time -
look at OOH media , raising at 50 odd cents!! its shorts went from 6m to 20m in a couple of weeks (only trading 3 to 8m a day usually) and its price dropped from $2.50 to 80c- which meant they had to raise at 53c as opposed to say $1.50 without the shorters!!!
that is a huge amount of shorts on a stock where turnover is not great, and in a time when buyers were very timid!!
