So Bun, you are absolutely correct. Many die from the common Flu. Many are somewhat immune to the Flu and many have been vaccinated against it. Guess what tho...! As we now have Covid19, are all those flu cases going to disappear? Of course not but the healthcare capacity isn't going to cope with both and particularly a virus with 10 fold infectious/transmission rate as most Flu strains. You do know coronavirus has been around since the 1960's. Many strains. Our own CSRIO was the first to provide vaccine for the most common strain and many vaccines since, hindra, sars etc. Its all about healthcare capacity and how each strain affects peoples immune systems. We aren't prepared for everything all at once. 3500 deaths in Australia for common flu +++ Covid.

I've read a lot on the history of the viruses. I have lupus and know about antibodies.
The healthcare system here and in the US does not fair well day to day life let alone a pandemic.
Have people listened to self quarantine? Don't think so.
