Getting too close for comfort..... a close friends’ house has just gone into full lockdown after a visit by someone whose parents tested positive today.



Not wanting to sound paranoid or critical (hec, I'm a HCW myself), but this scenario leads to many questions of why.
1. did the person who's parents were positive knowingly not keep isolation protocol that has been forced down all out throats now for over a month.
2. how did both their parents contract it. Because the testing criteria is quite specific. And as a result he would have known he was in that "at risk" category.
I won't go on with other questions and I won't attack this person, because there are many permutations. So will take it on face value that "they did not know"

Don't take this as a nasty post, but you can see there are many failures that people can see is wrong with what happened here.


We, are work, are very proactive with this isolation and separation. We have split our hours into two. One group starts at 6am and finishes 1 and the other starts at 12.30 and finishes at 7.30. the half hour hand over is done from across the room. We have to we cannot go down as lives (not COVID19+ patients) are also at risk.
