special div

Hi All,

This is a bit of a simple question but I'm pretty new at this. Also I did a bit of reading and couldn't find an answer so hopefully I'm not asking what has already been answered.

Any my question is if I were to buy shares in CFE, through ComSec on monday morning would I still be eligible for the special dividend if the ex dividend date is one day later?

Or do you have to buy it three days before so that it gets registered etc?
