Exactly. Anyone who thinks a massive portion of businesses are going to be left to simply collapse has rocks in their head imo, or, as we are seeing with some posters here, they are trying to promote fear and alarmist responses by preaching unfounded crap about “all jobs gone” and “administration” etc whilst shuffling their holding status (in a trading halt mind you) to try to influence others. Pathetic behaviour.

Wage subsidies of various sorts, along with other measures, will allow many affected businesses to survive and prosper once more, when all this mess is resolved. It is simply too wide spread for such a broad spectrum of established successful businesses to be left to die. Their collapse and the later start up of others in their place is, in many cases, simply too inefficient and expensive and time-consuming to be a suitable outcome here. Many standard business survival/viability analyses simply will not apply in this case.
We are seeing it (support) already and it will undoubtedly continue.
