If mortgage payments are missed, they still owe the money and the payments. Some rescheduling happens, have to arrange with lender. Less now is more later. Suppose this would affect commissions the same way. The details would be important. A friend of mine who owns a couple of flats with tenants on Centrelink long term, has got a letter from them saying they don't think they now have to pay the rent. . Nope. ONLY if they have been laid off due to Coronavirus, which does not apply to them. No doubt there will be a fight. People are running around who this does not apply to thinking and saying they do mot have to pay the rent! The PM needs to make this clear, there are a lot of idiots among those renting out there, and plenty of opportunists too.
