That's a big bet you are laying RB. For me I want a quid each way. Gold might go to 10,000$ but it might not. It might (and will one day) go back to $250 I am sure. In the meantime hedging at AUD $1300, 25% of output for a few years seems like sound business practice. Its a bet, just like lotto except either way you will get a good return. After the past week I am over all or nothing strategies.
