You may well be right and frankly I cant argue that is actually not such a bad position to take as long as you leave the word "may" in the statement, though personally having attended both parties I'm not so sure the scenario is parallel - different place, time and players and we dont yet have the full story.
Someone or someones wanted a 13 cent close by the look of the little trades leading up to 4.pm. today. Good to see substantially more buyers than sellers. This will all take some time to unravel - especially in a market that is currently making very little sense of anything.
