Hi Aussiepunter,
Sorry if i gave the wrong impression but wasnt actually saying Xstrata is interested just trying to point out that it could be possible and that there is more than just the copper component to consider now. There are links between what CUO owns and Xstrata. But then you also seemed a bit contradictory saying no interest full stop but platmin maybe.
I agree at current zinc prices Lady Loretta probably wont advance but at some point prices will head upwards and it will be viable ( timeframe unknown).
The thing is if CUO keeps growing at some point it will probably become a takeover target, maybe not yet but sometime in the future.
OK back to the thread heading regarding the bottom being in. Sorry to all the fundemental people but back to TA (which maybe i should stick to anyway) so another chart.
Looks very close to a bottom and could turn at anytime. Have put in blue lines to try and highlight the correlation between the lows and SIROC lines crossing below the 10% line. The 10% line is a pretty good indicator it is at the bottom after a share price run downwards. It may not neccesarily head up initially from there and may run flat for a bit before at leat a bit of run up. It is not quite at the 10% line yet but is close I would feel a bit more comfortable calling a bottom if it was there, although with everything that is going on at the moment if the market turns up so will CUO ( notice it is up 1 cent this morning).
But as usual to play it safe i would wait for confirmation that it has turned and will post when that happens.
Cheers Fero
