And if like me you don’t trust any of the statistics supplied by China for this virus, and strip them out of the calculations, you get a death rate of 27% for the “rest of world” resolved cases. That’s really significant, and this metric should be more widely reported.

This resolved cases death rate will surely (hopefully?) come down as better testing and treatment rolls out globally, but it has remained stubbornly high for weeks now, and we should be paying more attention to it in my opinion.

Does anyone have the numbers of people who have died due unavailability of normal health services? Has the total fatality rate (all causes) go up?

I bet it has.....
The only fatality rate that would be in decline are transportation accidents.
