Voltaire, the gradient of the angle you have there from the 2002 low to the 2007 high...
run it up at the same gradient from the 1987 high at I think a 1:2 gradient (play around with it).
And also run it down from the 2002 high at the 2:1 and 3:1 gradients etc.
Its not a random gradient at all.
