In my heart, I believe the people of Iraq have been gravely wronged for many years. They were used as pawns of the US under Saddam to attack Iran. They were slaughtered by the US after Saddam took them into Kuwait. They were mistreated by Saddam's police after the US elected to leave him in power (a calculated decision). They were bombed during the war, their security forces disbanded, their jobs were replaced by foreign contractors.

Now, they are ruthlessly punished for daring to resist.

Yet many here regard them as in the wrong??????
