There is a strong view emerging that last week's severe price weakness in AJ Lucas was caused by a US hedge fund selling on a currency related stop-loss. That reason probably explains some other unusual price moves last week. The other rumour is that one medium sized Aussie fund was unwinding a significant overweight position in large and medium cap energy stocks e.g. Santos, last week.
Any thoughts?
