Just watched 4 corners and lateline, 4 corners gave a pretty clear analysis of what sub prime is all about and whats left to come (it was actually a repeated episode from last year, which I had seen it would of saved some cash), Lateline had Dr Marc Faber on as a guest, a real character very cynical about English governments moves and governments in general... but he is predicting a lot of pain to come for Australia economically as we still have a housing bubble to burst, and obviously the demand for resources to fall which leads to unemployment lower GDP, etc etc. Long term its not looking great at all.
